Most international flights arrive at Sheremetyevo-2 Airport(SVO) or at Domodedovo Airport(DME)

Sheremetyevo-2 (SVO)

From Sheremetyevo-2 Airport (SVO) to Moscow:

  • By Aeroexpress

Sheremetyevo-2 Airport has train connection (named Aeroexpress) with the Belorusskaya Railway Station, Moscow.

When you arrive at Sheremetyevo-2 Airport (Terminal F,E,D) you follow the arrow signs to the gallery, which connects Sheremetyevo-2 Airport and Aeroexpress train station. Trains leave every 30 minutes (see timetable).
Please save your train ticket for control by inspector and scan procedure at turnstile at the end of the way. It takes 35-40 minutes to get to Belorusskaya Railway Station. Then you can walk (3 min.) to Belorusskaya metro station which is essentially the center of the city. If you choose this variant (by Aeroexpress + by metro) you can avoid traffic jams.

  • By Taxi

The arriving traveler is greeted by a vast crowd of people offering personal services to get one to the city. Unfortunately these taxi drivers are often dangerous and at best are dishonest. It is very wise to steer clear of them.

    • You can order a taxi from dispatcher desks or taxi desks situated in all of the airport’s terminals.
    • You can easily pre-arrange a legal taxi to meet you at the arrivals and take you to the hotel. Most hotels will provide airport transfers (for a fee) upon request by prior fax (which you should make sure is confirmed).
